SCAV : Small Scale Connected and Autonomous Car (1:10)
SCAV main objectives are to test and validate an innovative HW/SW embedded architecture covering automation level 1 to 5 according to SAE J3016 recommendations, to test CAV and other transportations modes interaction without risks for poeple and equipment and to reduce the gap between a research product and a marketed product. SCAV is the result of a cooperation with Univ Eiffel and is part of Car@0.1 and City@0.1 a testbench of MobiSAT project.

Véhicule autonome et connecté à échelle réduite (1:10)
Les principaux objectifs de SCAV sont de tester une architecture matérielle et logicielle embarquée innovante couvrant tous les modes d'automatisation de 1 à 5, de tester - sans risque pour les personnes et les biens - les interactions entre les véhicules autonomes et les autres modes de transport et de réduire le temps de transfert entre un produit de recherche et un produit commercialisable. SCAV est le fruit d'une coopération avec Univ Eiffel et fait partie de Véhicule@0.1 et Ville@0.1 un équipement d'essais du projet MobiSAT

About the author
Jacques EHRLICH, I am a self employer consultant in the fields of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) since July 1st, 2014. I have been the deputy director (1999-2007) and the director (2007-2014) of the LIVIC (Laboratory on Vehicle Infrastructure and Drivers Interactions) at IFSTTAR (the former name of the new Univ Eiffel), an internationally renowned research laboratory in the field of road safety, advanced driving assistance systems and autonomous vehicle.

Jacques EHRLICH, consultant auto entrepreneur depuis le 1er juillet 2014 dans le domaine des transports. J’ai codirigé (1999-2007) puis dirigé (2007-2014) le LIVIC (Laboratoire sur les Interactions Véhicule, Infrastructure Conducteur) à l’IFSTTAR (l'ancien nom de la nouvelle Univ Eiffel), un laboratoire de recherche de renommée internationale dans le domaine de la sécurité routière, des aides à la conduite et du véhicule autonome.
